 In the era of COVID-19, people are forced to stay at home and cannot go out, so the first, second and third place are combined, people can only work or have leisure at home, so the virtual third place becomes more and more popular, but now, the epidemic has passed, However, the influence of virtual third place is still huge, and people often blur the boundary between the first place and the third place, resulting in bad effects. In this work, I created a 3*3 open space in the style of a courtyard through rhino (modeling software), and then added stairs, railings and ladders to give it more details, creating a semi-open house I chose a third place: the square, and then put the houses I designed and made into this space. I unified their texture through photoshop, so that the two Spaces could be comfortably integrated together. I hope that my integration can create a semi-realistic and semi-fictional third place. the High LineThe High Line is a 1.45-mile-long (2.33 km) elevated linear park, greenway and rail trail created on a former New York Central Railroad spur on the west side of Manhattan in New York City. it is one of typical third place in our live.  In this work, I want to overlap and interact two third places to create a multi-dimensional third place. The house is made up of three overlapping chairs, one of which crosses the High Line to form an interaction. The main building has three floors with different purposes. The first floor is the only enclosed space, used as an auditorium or gathering place, but there is a door directly connected to the staircase of the High Line. Even though the two Spaces are not open to each other, there is still a certain connection. The second platform is the same height as the main body of the High Line, so that people in the building can communicate with people on the High Line.
